Scuba Diving Adventures

Vancouver Island is world renowned for large marine animals, colourful reefs and unsurpassed diversity. One these trips you'll have an opportunity to see giant Pacific octopus, wolfeels, friendly seals and sea lions, as well as a multitude of fish. There are also a number of historic shipwrecks in our area, including the steamship SS Capilano which sank in 1915, the wreck of the MV Gulstream which struck a nearby island in 1947, the SS Alpha, and the steam tug Shamrock.  Big Animal Encounters operates diving boats from Campbell River and Comox exploring the areas best sites including Hornby Island, the northern Salish Sea and Discovery Passage / Quadra Island.
