Cruise deep into the current swept channels and inlets of the Discovery Islands Archipelago.This tour covers a vast area where we often encounter humpback whales, orcas, bears, sea lions, seals, dolphins and a range of colourful sea birds.
This tour takes place aboard our covered vessels which have a comfortable indoor seating area and spacious outdoor viewing deck. We include a delicious lunch and refreshments.
Tour departs from our Campbell River Marine Adventure Centre and our Painters Lodge location.
Our large covered and heated vessels are well equipped however some items you may want to bring with you include;
- Dry Bag / Backpack
- Resuable water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Hat / Sunglasses
- Camera
- Binoculars
- Money for Souveniers
- Lunch and Snacks
- Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Water and Juice
- All safety equipment as per Transport Canada requirements

Due to the extremely high cost and volatile pricing of fuel there is a fuel levy added to all tours. 5% Goods and Services Tax is also not included.
We reserve the right to alter itineraries and vessels based on weather, availability, animal locations, mechanical breakdowns or other factors which our skipper / crew consider imperative.
Our crew work very hard to make your trip as exciting and comfortable as possible and are always greatly appreciative of gratuities received for good service.
Whale Guarantee: In the extremely unlikely event you are not able to see whales on this tour we are happy to welcome you aboard as a standby passenger for no charge at another time (Fuel levy and taxes not included). Complimentary ticket valid for 24 months and does not apply to passengers who took part with discounted or special ticket pricing.
Our 7 Hour tours operate on a minimum passenger load of 6. If we do not meet the minimums we will take the following steps:
- You may choose to rebook on another date
- We will do our best to schedule you onto another tour provider
- You may request a full refund without penalty.
